Veggie Burger
Whether you are joining a friend's BBQ or just want to have a burger, like a good American (or American fan!), you should explore the veggie burger world. Here are some frozen burger options that are good to keep in the freezer (hot tip: you can keep buns there too) but you can also try out some recipes made from ingredients such as: beans, beets, oats, bran, etc. Or, you can roast up a portobello mushroom in place of a burger.

Also, if you like the taste of meat, there are many companies trying in earnest to make vegan burgers that are solid imitations. Beyond Burger and Impossible burger are two of the leaders. You can't get Impossible Burgers in the grocery store yet, though, and Beyond Burger can be tricky to find - try your local health food store.

Have these with a side of pickles, side salad or fries if you're up for it!
