Almond Butter & Dates
This is a snack that many vegan parents feed their plant-eating kiddos. But we adults should get to indulge in this deliciousness too!
Ingredients
  • medjool dates (you can try other types too and it helps to buy already pitted, though you can always removed the pits)
  • almond butter
Instructions
  1. Remove the pits from the dates if they aren't already pitted by slicing each date the long way and removing the pits.
  2. Slice the dates the long way (if you didn't already during the pitting process).
  3. Use a knife to fill the dates with almond butter. Play around with proportions that you find to be tasty!
