Guys. This granola. THIS GRANOLA.
I usually gamble when I buy granola and get a new one each time. There are so many out there and I guess I want to try them all.
I don’t do that anymore because I’ve found the best granola and this is it: Purely Elizabeth.
Enter the giveaway to get your own sampling of all of the Purely Elizabeth Granola Mini flavors and scroll down for more info about this fantastic stuff!

Ancient Grains
A good rule of thumb when it comes to health is variety. No, not “Oreos today, potato chips tomorrow” (nice try) but more like “quinoa today, brown rice tomorrow”. Variety helps you get the variety of nutrients you need. And that’s one of the reasons I love Purely Elizabeth granola.
Purely Elizabeth makes use of “ancient grains”. What are these? They are grains that are not necessarily a staple in all of our diets but are excellent sources of nutrition. They have simple genetic makeups and so are easier to digest and are packed with protein and fiber.
I’m not always making these grains at home (though I am more and more!) so I love that I can get them from granola.
Here are the ancient grains that Purely Elizabeth uses:
- millet
- kaniwa
- amaranth
- quinoa
- chia seeds
- hemp seeds
Sure, you’ll find oats in their granola also. But it’s fun to mix it up with stuff like millet!
Grain-Free Granola
Purely Elizabeth also has a line of grain-free granola. This is great for those of you who are looking for a low-carb, high-protein option.
(There are a couple of those in the giveaway so you can see if they’re up your alley!)
Giveaway: Granola Minis
For those times when you are on the move, these minis are perfect. Instead of reaching for the (usually) non-vegan muffin at work or *gasp* at the gas station, you can keep these Minis on hand.
One thing that is awesome and hilarious about the Minis is you can just tear off the top and pour your dairy-free milk right in! I’ve literally brought milk with me in a thermos hiking so I could do this mid-hike. It was such a treat!
