You are interested in a vegan diet but also intimidated by it. I get it – it can be confusing figuring out how to be a vegan.
“Where do I start? No more ice cream? What about *gasp* cheese?!”
You might want to eat vegan but worry about:
- How to eat out.
- What groceries to buy.
- If you’re going to perish from protein deficiency.
- Being the “weird” vegan in your family or group of friends.
I hear you and I got you.
You do not have to go on this path into the vegan unknown alone.
Learn From An Expert
Eating a plant-based diet is something you can definitely do and you don’t need to reinvent the wheel to do it.
As I like to say, “Stand on the shoulders of the vegan giants who have gone before you!”
Hi, there. Diana, here and I’M one of those vegan giants.
This means that you’ll find 10 years of vegan eating experience at Plenty Vegan! Every tip, trick and guide you find on Plenty Vegan is based on 10 years of personal vegan experience. Pro experience.
I Was A Vegan Newbie Too
This was NOT always the case. I had no idea what eating a healthful vegan diet meant 10 years ago. I knew I wanted to leave a smaller environmental footprint and that was it.
Learning all of the ins and outs of how to be a vegan took me years. I could have used some more quick “how to’s”.
The good news is – I already tackled the frontiers of weird vegan ingredients like: vital wheat gluten, tempeh, Vegenaise®, and nutritional yeast. I did it then and so now you don’t have to.
Vegan For Health
If you are here because you want to eat a healthier diet full of whole foods, you’ve come to the right place. Though Plenty Vegan accommodates all approaches to eating vegan, I share lots of tricks for focusing on whole, unprocessed foods.
I am certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell and can help you focus on low added oil, low added salt and low added sugar veganism – also know as Whole Foods Plant Based.
