Chia seeds are a vegan superfood – packed with protein. They are flavorless and there is no difference between the black and white seeds except for color. Vegans sprinkle them on oatmeal, blend them in smoothies and bake them into muffins. When chia seeds are soaked, they take on a gooey texture which can be really great for making a pudding.
