Many microwaveable popcorns are decidedly not vegan. Besides that, they cost more than just buying kernels and they are often unhealthy.
Enter: stovetop popcorn. Now, you can make stovetop popcorn in a pot but I really recommend one of these classic popcorn poppers. That way, if you burn popcorn in the bottom, you haven’t ruined a good pot and the turning mechanism means that you’re probably not going to burn your popcorn because you’ll keep it moving!
Also, if you half-heartedly clean the oil out after making up a batch, who cares?! It’s your dedicated popcorn popper!
