Liquid smoke can be really fun to use in vegan dishes. It comes in a very small vial of sorts (alchemy!) and just a drop or two will add a smokey flavor to any dish it is a part of. This can be great in homemade vegan sausages, roasted veggie dishes and seitan meals.
It is made by, you guessed it, burning wood and collecting the condensation of the resulting smoke.« Back to Glossary Index
