Protein powder is not any more necessary for vegans than it is for omnivores. Vegans can get plenty (PLENTY) of protein from a plant-based diets. The meat industry has convinced us that this is not the case but… it is!
Having said that, just like an omnivore might like to boost the protein of a meal, a vegan might like to as well. Maybe for muscle building or just for feeling fuller longer.
