Vegan Eats World is the cookbook for when you want to push your vegan and culinary skills to the max. Terry Hope Romero's recipes are fall-on-the-floor delectable but they are not quick, weekday night endeavors. Roll up your sleeves on a weekend evening and whip up her Seitan, Almond, and Sesame Tagine (with seitan you make yourself!). You'll be a convert, I swear. As will all your meat-eating loved ones. These recipes always have something I think of as a “flavor blast” – you'll add some onions you've caramelized on the side of the stew or head to a specialty shop for Pomegranate Molasses to make the best salad dressing you've ever had. These are more involved than some recipes out there but so worth it. If you want to travel the world with plant-based versions of people-kind's favorite recipes, this is THE book for you.
